Quick note, LJ/DW, to say that I am discontinuing/I have discontinued posting fic here. I will probably post things that aren't Avengers, esp. Inception or SGA, if I write them, and I will post vids and (probably) podfic, but there's a generalized lack of interest in fic over here these days.

The fastest and most complete way to get updates is to go to sabinelagrande and click Subscribe (and if you don't have an AO3 account, the queue is very short right now!). I also give periodic updates at stickthisbig, but they are buried under everything else and often incomplete.

Truly it is the end of an era, as I started my LJ lo these ten year ago as a fic archive. I'm not leaving LJ/DW, mind, but this is one thing I won't be doing here any longer.

I'm not sure why this makes me sad, since I do my ocassional comments on AO3, but I'm still sad. I've had you on sub for ages, though, so it's not like I can miss anything. Right? :)

I know excatly why this makes me sad; it's my paranoid mind at work, I don't like when fic lives only in one place bc it means more chances to lose it if the place goes down either temporarily or permanently. But hey, I'm subscribed at AO3, I'm good (as can be).

Just this. I'm subbed over on AO3, but having entered a fandom late enough that half the archives had died (Due South, 2007) I'm trying to reconcile myself to this experience being an essentially transitory one. But with you in it, it will be pleasant.

I've noticed too, that these days people tend to leave kudos on AO3 or on some occasions comments, while nobody comments on LJ/DW any longer, at least not on my fics. I can understand the reason for the change, though somehow it does means the end of an era, sort of.

I like the redundancy of having two places to post, though.
