1. This is the kind of afternoon I'm having: I put pants on so that I could go and collect my mail (wherein I found my new big subby wristband), then immediately took them off again. Now I am, as you can often find me of a Saturday, sitting in my underpants, drinking a beer, listening to David Bowie, contemplating making some brownies.

I have, it should be pointed out, totally earned this beer and underpants time, as I spent the whole morning working on my paper for this conference next week. And hey, my underpants even match my shirt. It almost looks like I planned it.

2. In the shower today, I pulled a whole handful of hair out of my buttcrack.

My friends, I have officially reached long hair status once again.

2a. Is buttcrack one word or two words? It was a subject of some debate, but my native speaker intuition is that it is just one word.

3. intoabar is almost over! I am both excited and relieved!

If my house was warm enough I would totally be into the beer and underpants. As it is, I'm doing tea and blankets, and wishing I'd brought my sheepskin slippers home from the office.

I'd say butt crack is two words, probably, but I support it appearing as one word.

Wow, until you mentioned that, I'd totally forgotten about that one aspect of having long hair. :)

Also, I feel awful about defaulting on my intoabar fic. I still intend to write it, but it's not going to get done in the next--*checks clock*--six hours.
