I have such a thing for plausibly contrived Harlequinish plots. This one is perfect! I love the little things too, the Picayune, the description of Elizabeth as "willowy" (it fits and it's totally old timey and romancey!) Rodney snarking about the menage a trois, Elizabeth making a house out of calling cards! That was the best.
