Hehe. Wow, I didn't know clothing was still so bad in the 30's, their stuff doesn't look to different from dresses now... My mum was a child in the 50's, and she told be about the tortures of a rubber girdle. Apparently WORSE that a corset, b/c it offers no support while still being really constrictive.
