DAY TWELVE: TURNABOUT MEMORIES
or, OM NOM NOM NOM NOM
Defense Attorney: Mia Fey
Side Bar: Marvin Grossberg
Prosecutor: Winston Payne
Defendant: Phoenix Wright
Victim: Doug Swallow
Play Time: 1 hour, 13 min.
OMG, Mia! And OMG, an opener with actual depth! It's not so much surprising, though, seeing as how Trials and Tribulations is really just one long story. I felt like it was less "What does this button do?" than The First Turnabout and The Lost Turnabout.
I could stand to hear a little bit less about Grossberg's hemorrhoids, though.
For the first time, we have Dahlia, queen bitch of the Phoenix Wright series. Oddly enough, I don’t want to punch sweet!Dahlia in the face as much as I thought I did, probably because I know it's an act now. Me and them butterflies is gonna throw down though.
Appropriately enough, the judge is a little less ditzy in this game than in JFA. I'd like to see a horrifically long fic about his slow descent into madness.
I think it's kind of funny that the victim's the one called Swallow (it's okay, you can giggle, I know I did), but Phoenix is the one who ends up EATING GLASS WTF. Swallow (teehee) does get one of the most unique deaths in the series. I can't think of anyone else who isn't shot, stabbed, strangled, or poisoned.
I liked all the foreshadowing for the Diego/Godot storyline. It was natural and kept things interesting.
I feel like everything I really have to say about this case is actually more appropriate to talk about in other cases, plus I'm late for work, so-
