Yes, yes, I'm crossposting, I'm crossposting, but this question has nothing to do with LJ whatsoever:

I love the hell out of Transmogrified, right? It's easily the most readable of the DW layouts (except Tabula Rasa, which doesn't count), which is important coming and going. Everything about it is just how I want- except that the header text is HUGENORMOUS, and it doesn't have my journal subtitle.

How do I fix it, circle? I just got everything all gussied up to my liking, and I don't want to have to go off and use another layout just because of the TERMINAL BIGELOSITY of the title text.

I have this exact same problem but have always been too lazy to fix it.

Well, to make the title text smaller you'd want to change the #header #title element.

So, for example:
#header #title { font-size: 1.5em; }

ETA: You'd put that code in the custom css section of the customize page, in case you weren't aware. :) I forgot what your css knowledge is, heh.

IDK why your journal subtitle isn't showing up; that's likely not something that can be changed w/ css, but is written into the style. You'd probably have to go in and edit the S2 code slightly.
