As you probably know by now, a good portion of Nashville, my present homebase, is flooded out right now. It's a big deal- a bigger deal than it's been made out to be, really, as the damages are somewhere on the order of $1 billion. People are still without power, and the whole city's on conservation orders, since only one of our water treatment facilities is running.
I'm perfectly fine, but a whole lot of people aren't, including people who are close to me. So if you have a few bucks or some time on your hands, consider donating it. Go here and check out Nashvillest's list of what you can do to help. If you like giving donations and receiving stuff, check out Cool People Care's We Are Nashville t-shirts (inspired by this blog post, which made me tear up a little), all of the profits from which go to flood relief.
Thank you! <3<3<3<3<3
