Returning to Pegasus, the team is tipped off to a planet where they've collected lots of Ancient tech. Not only that, but they've figured out Ancient database schema much better than the expedition has, so they actually know what their devices are supposed to do-- and they know they're right because they have a few ATA people in their population, though they can't get the stuff to do much more than activate and verify what it does, since no one has the facility with the tech that John has.

Everyone on both sides is eager to exchange info and get John to activate the collected tech. The only catch is that gene carriers on this world always dress in a particular style of clothes.

John probably balks (though secretly he might really want to get into those outfits) but Rodney says John's going to wear the mandated clothes if Rodney has to hold him down and dress John in them himself.

I was just remembering the bit in "and if you don't expect too much from me" about John visiting Todd and how much I liked it. I don't know if there's any more to be said about the two of them as almost-buddies, but that would be fun.

Or Lorne being awesome, because it's always a good time for that.
