So I had to get to LA for reasons unknown, and in here there was something about fucking some twins during a music contest, idk, and I kept getting cut off by fire trucks on the freeway. That part is very hazy, as the beginnings of dreams tend to be.
I'm driving into LA, and I pick up this nonspecific friend of mine. And we have to meet up with another friend of ours, and for some reason it was vitally important that we call him from the trashiest place we could find. So we're at a strip mall containing a discount grocery store and a check cashing place, and I decided this would be the perfect opportunity to check my twitter, right? So @daedalus and @caldwell are tweeting about what's going on in space, idk, and I'm like, sigh, he will never tweet at me. I should campaign for him to mention me for my birthday.
And of course then Caldwell was there, because that's how dreams go, and we're sitting in my parents' closet in the house I grew up in (because, really, where else would we be). And he's, idk, just sitting amongst the shoes, and there's all this fake greenery coming out from above us, and I'm like, WTF is this? and I start pulling and pulling, and there's a whole fake Christmas tree up there. And I keep pulling, and it almost falls on top of us, but the chest of drawers stops it before it can fall. And I look at him, and I say, "Well... there you go." And he's like, "Wait, I have to tweet about this. Did I spell your username right?" And I'm like FLAWLESS VICTORY.
And then I was trying so hard to get up for my second alarm, becauseanatsuno was auctioning something? Maybe podfic? Poss. herself? It's unclear.
And then my second alarm did go off, and I came in here to write this exceedingly weird post.
