Dudes, you should know that Friendblab is scraping DW accounts and reposting content without permission. havocthecat has a post about it here. I can't find a way to search for yourself on it, but if you're on my flist, check "my" friends list to see if your journal's been copied.

To search myself on it this morning I used google, and typed in a query w/ my username + the delimiter site:friendblab.com - worked like a charm. sadly.

Wait, so that's how you get google to only search on site? I knew you could do it, but surfing inside google for their hints is a exercise in frustration, so thanks!

haha, yes, that is it. you can also use "inurl:" for stuff. especially for stuff that comes before the "x.com" in a url, like the username part of a dreamwidth journal.

Say, if I wanted to google search my journal (which is actually unindexed, so I won't) I could say

"searchterm site:dreamwidth.org inurl:anatsuno"

Freindblab (and ugh, what a cutsie, infantilizing name) seems to have gotten bombed with people checking to see if their stuff has been scraped, because it's down for the count right now. I hope it stays that way!
