A/N: No, I'm not a recovering John fangirl or anything. Also, foreshadowing.
In the beginning were the words, and the words were Logos, and Logos was the words. The words were not Logos’, but he was with them, and he knew them and keep them and cherished them.
He was with the words when they came for them. They meant to lock them away, not just from Logos, but from the world. He would not let them take the words; he fought them tooth and nail. In the end, they locked Logos up with them.
When he came out, the world was changed. The words were gone, and no one else seemed to mark their absence. The knowledge was divided up, bottled, and sold.
He returned to his people, and they thought him mad. He was cast out by those he loved, the dominance of the word killers complete. So Logos went out into the wide world. There, he found a woman, one who understood him and understood the words. And they left the world to see the words.
They brought forth a child, Shalott, made and trained to keep the words and their ways. And they called forth followers, and they were with the words, and they were the words. And they walked as the words all the days of their life.
