Date: 2009-11-30 05:17 am (UTC)I really enjoyed this story. I was intrigued to see where you'd go with the D/s trope, and you did not even a little go where I thought you'd go! Whiny "why won't you USE ME" John was kind of ridiculously adorable, and the whole thing was entirely satisfying. Anyway. I applaud you for entering & finishing Big Bang, and this is totally on my comfort-read list now.

I'm glad that you wrote about the consequences that the usual slave-fic/dub-con fic doesn't usually show, without getting into too heavy territory. Your Rodney was awesome. Very in-character in his dealings with the Bykstrans. I love your sense of humor. The whole fic was a great read, and I loved that the sex was less-than-perfect!
I kept seeing Melisan as my name, which was kind of weird lol
This got me thinking that while I do love the AMTDI-trope, I only really like it with John and Rodney (and that's counting other fandoms too). I think it's because that I can trick myself into think that they really love each other and things will turn out ok in the end. Which isn't necessarily true but, eh.
